Accompanied by two deputies from Bururi commune, on Saturday, November 22, 2025, the Second Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Clotilde Kampimbare, joined the residents of Muzenga zone in Bururi commune, Burunga province, for the construction of retaining walls for a bridge built on Siguvyaye River, and connecting Muzenga and Bamba zones.
In her message to the population, Honourable Kampimbare urged them to continue to buckle down to development activities in general, and to the construction of this bridge, in particular.
She also encouraged them to respect administrative authorities, protect state-owned land, trace contour lines, and plant trees to protect agricultural fields from erosion. These parliamentarians offered them a donation of gabions to continue reinforcing the retaining walls of this bridge.
