On Wednesday October 9, 2024, Right Honorable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, Speaker of the Senate, accompanied by the heads of delegation participating in the 46th Conference of the African Parliamentary Union (UPA), was received in a courtesy audience by H.E Amb. Allah-Maye Halina, Prime Minister of Chad.
During an interview with the press, the Speaker of the Senate Sinzohagera underlined the importance of this meeting. He indicated that the Prime Minister explained to them the current situation in Chad, highlighting the efforts made by the Chadian people to overcome their challenges.
“As parliamentarians, we were impressed by the way in which Chadians organized themselves to face their own problems. It is essential that African problems are solved by Africans themselves,” said Right Honorable Sinzohagera.
This meeting demonstrates the desire of African leaders to collaborate and find endogenous solutions to continental challenges, thus strengthening the spirit of unity and solidarity among African nations.
