Departure of the First Deputy Speaker of the Senate to participate in the 3rd General Assembly of the Speakers of African Legislative Assemblies’ Conference in the Kingdom of Morocco

On the afternoon of Wednesday, December 10, 2025, the First Deputy-Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Générose NGENDANGANYA, departed for Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco, where she will participate in the 3^rd General Assembly of the Speakers of African Legislative Assemblies’ Conference (CoSPAL).

This Assembly will be held from December 12 to 14 of this year, under the theme: “Legislative Leadership and Parliamentary Diplomacy in a Changing World Order.”

The Assembly will provide African legislative leaders with an important platform to deliberate, develop strategies, and act collectively to strengthen parliamentary cooperation, advance democratic governance, and promote Africa’s legislative pathway in the development of global outcomes for the benefit of Africa.
