Farmers urged to promote the use of fertilizers

In the company of the deputies elected in the constituency of Bubanza, the Second Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Fabrice Nkurunziza, joined the population of Butavuka village, Muzinda zone, in the commune of Rugazi during the tracing of contour lines.

In his message, Honourable Nkurunziza recalled that the cropping season A of this year is approaching, and called on farmers to promote the use of fertilizers in their agricultural fields. He urged those who have not yet responded to the activities of the general census of the population, housing, agriculture and livestock to do so.

The Second Deputy Speaker of the Upper House of thae Parliament called on the population of Bubanza to continue to preserve peace and security, maintain social infrastructure, protect the environment and avoid rumours.

Some administrative officials from the Bubanza province also participated in that activity.
