Some members of the parliament, the Governor of this province and many other officials of this locality took part in this activity.
Honourable Nshimirimana praised the step already taken by the inhabitants of the Province Karusi in development activities and in peace and security keeping, which constitutes a good example for other provinces.
With regard to some localities where the responsibilities of notables and village chiefs are intertwined, the Second Deputy Speaker of the Senate advised these local authorities to refer to their specifications in the accomplishment of their tasks in strict compliance with the law in force.
Concerning the cooperatives, Honourable Nshimirimana asked communal administrators to ensure proper management of funds released by the Government and to the leaders of cooperatives to organize regular meetings for their members.
Finally, Honourable Nshimirimana reminded the inhabitants of Karusi, especially those living in the vicinity of this centre, that it is an honour for their province because they should take advantage of it by increasing agricultural production so that those who will be hosted in this centre will not lay in provisions elsewhere.
