Makamba population urged to fight against climate change

October 1, 2023Saturday, September 30, 2023, the First Deputy –Speaker of the Senate, Honorable Denise Ndadaye, accompanied by a senator elected in the constituency of Makamba, joined the population of Musenyi village, Gitara zone, in Mabanda commune of the province of Makamba, during the contour tracing work.
Honorable Ndadaye, in her message, called on the population of this province to fight against climate change, in particular by drawing contour lines and planting trees. She also urged them to give good direction on runoff water.
The First Deputy -Speaker of the Upper House of Parliament asked the inhabitants of Makamba to be characterized by fiscal citizenship, to avoid laziness, and to respect the leaders.
She called on them to raise awareness among returnees about the love of work and the preservation of peace and security. Honorable Ndadaye also advised them to maintain their roads well and avoid rumors.
