January 29, 2023On January 26, 2023, the Senate Speaker, Right Honorable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, joined the CNDD-FDD party members from Kabezi commune, Bujumbura province, in an ecumenical prayer of the last Thursday of the month.
Right Honourable Sinzohagera centered his teachings on the holy scriptures of Nehemiah 5:14-19, Hebrews 13:16 and Matthew 25:31-44 where he reminded those who had taken part in this prayer that before judgment everyone will be rewarded according to his actions, and that these can be the source of blessing or curse to their descendants.
During his sermon, he challenged the members of the CNDD-FDD party to do good and strengthen love, fraternity and unity, because where there is unity, people become very productive.
This prayer was attended by the Provincial Secretary of this party, the Governor of the province of Bujumbura and many other communal and provincial officials.
