On Saturday, August 20, 2022, the First Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Dénise Ndadaye, accompanied by a senator elected in Mwaro constituency, joined the population of Yanza in Rusaka zone and commune of this province, during rehabilitation activities of a road in Mahonda village, linking Mwaro and Bujumbura provinces.
Speaking to the participants in these activities, Honourable Ndadaye appreciated their massive participation and encouraged them to move forward. She called on them to come together and work in associations, and to encourage pupils on vacation to buckle down to work and avoid juvenile delinquency.
The First Deputy Speaker of the Senate asked the population of this locality to continue to safeguard peace and security, and to be characterized by the love of neighbor and solidarity.
Shortly after this activity, she visited a modern agro-pastoral project in Rucunda village, belonging to a member of the Diaspora, Mister Habimana Christophe.
