Right Honorable Sinzohagera urges Christians from Nyabugogo to buckle down to development work to increase production

Right Honorable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, the Senate Speaker, along with his wife, joined the faithful of the United Methodist Church of Nyabugogo parish located in Gitega commune and province in a Sunday prayer, on September 13, 2020.

In his remarks, Right Honorable Sinzohagera exhorted the faithful of this Church to be animated by a spirit of work because faith without works is dead. To this end, he invited everyone to pray and work to increase production.

He asked the Church leaders to be helpful to everyone, avoid division of any kind, and advocate for social cohesion.

In addition, the Speaker of the Upper House of Parliament called on the faithful to protect themselves against Covid-19 by respecting hygiene measures.

On this occasion, the faithful of this Church offered him a gratitude gift and wished him every success in his new functions. They also wished him to keep faithfulness and love forever.

As a fringe event, the Senate Speaker offered copybooks to students of this Church to encourage them to tackle school studies.
