On Sunday, January 03, 2021, the Senate Speaker, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, along with his family, his Second Deputy Speaker and some senators, joined the Christians of Nyambuye branch (Kamenge Parish), in Isare commune of Bujumbura province, in a Sunday Mass
In his message to Christians just before the end of the Mass, Right Honourable Sinzohagera asked them to work with abnegation and together in order to fight poverty.
He advised them to preserve peace, to love the neighbor, to self-assess and plan for the future, to fight against the Covid-19, etc.
In addition, the Speaker of the Upper House of Parliament thanked the Almighty for keeping the Burundian people alive during 2020 and that they are still alive.
In addition, Right Honourable Sinzohagera wished Christians the best wishes for a happy new year in 2021. “May God continue to bless us,” he said.
At the end of his remarks, Right Honourable Sinzohagera asked the Nyambuye natives to do their best to make this branch a parish. “It will save you long paths by going to Kamenge Parish”, he added.
