Rt Hon Sinzohagera calls on Protestant Churches to unite in one family

January 15, 2022On Friday January 14, 2022, the Senate Speaker, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Sinzohagera, met with the leaders of the Protestant religious denominations in Bujumbura Town to discuss the consolidation of social and spiritual cohesion within these Churches.
In his speech, the Right Honourable Sinzohagera called on the Protestant churches to unite within a family in order to find solutions together to any problems that may arise in these churches.
This Family of Protestant Churches (FEP-Burundi) will have as missions to contribute to development, mutual aid in evangelization, to find solutions together, to restore the image of these Churches, and to ensure capacity building for their leaders.
At the end of this meeting, the Senate Speaker invited the leaders of these Churches to go and sensitize the creation of the FEP-Burundi association in their Churches. He announced that the next meeting for this purpose is scheduled for March 2022.
