Celebration of the 32nd anniversary of the National Unity Charter in Bujumbura City
February 6, 2023Burundians urged to get down to development work to increase the harvest
February 11, 2023The year two thousand and twenty-three, on the ninth day of February, the senators met in the Senate hemicycle for the 122nd plenary session of the sixth legislature to adopt the activity programme for the period from 09 to 28 February 2023.
The session was led by the Honourable First Deputy-speaker of the Senate, Mrs. Denise NDADAYE. This session was attended by 29 senators and, as usual, it began with a prayer, at 10 a.m.
Opening the session, the Honourable First Deputy-speaker of the Senate first welcomed the senators and then presented the activity programme. The programme was adopted unanimously.
Before leaving, a communication was given to the Honourable Senators. It was about inviting them to respond massively to community work organized every weekend throughout the country following the guidelines given by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Burundi.
The session ended at 10:10 a.m. in a climate of perfect harmony.
