Swearing in of new members of the Government

On Tuesday, October 3, 2023, under the high patronage of the President of the Republic of Burundi, His Excellency Evariste Ndayishimiye, members of the Senate Bureau and senators participated in the swearing-in ceremonies of 4 new ministers at Kigobe convention center. The new ministers arethe following : the Minister of Health and Fight against AIDS, Dr Liduine Baradahana; the Minister of Environment, Agriculture and Livestock, Mr. Prosper Dodiko; the Minister of Civil Service and Employment, Mr. Vénuste Muyabaga and the Minister responsible for East African Community Affairs, Youth, Sports and Culture, Amb. Gervais Abayeho.

These ceremonies were also attended by other high-ranking personalities including the Speaker of the National Assembly, the Prime Minister, the Vice-President of the Republic of Burundi, the Ombudsman, and many others.
