Thursday, May 19, 2021, the Second Deputy Speaker of the Senate, the Honourable Cyriaque Nshimirimana, granted, in his name, a donation of 30 mattresses to the Dutwe Minor Seminary in Ruyigi commune and province.
As a former student of that school, the Honourable Nshimirimana thanked the educators of that school for the intellectual and humane training he received there.
He also paid tribute to the authorities of that school for the good marks that the pupils obtain in the assessments organized at the national level.
The Honourable Nshimirimana advised the students to selflessly study in order to bring honour to the country in general and to their parents in particular.
The Second Deputy Speaker of the Senate ended his speech by calling on other former laureates, who have the ability, to support that school, as he had just done.
Shortly before that, he had helped a mother who gave birth to triplets at Ruyigi Hospital. That aid consisted of loincloths, blankets, thermos, milk and rice.
