The Burundian Parliament organizes the 14th Edition of the ‘National Prayer Breakfast’

The Speaker of the Senate, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, accompanied by his wife, participated in the 14^th Edition of the ‘National Prayer Breakfast’ and the inauguration of the new building of the National Assembly, in the premises of the Kigobe Congress Center, in Bujumbura City, under the High Patronage of His Excellency Evariste Ndayishimiye, President of the Republic of Burundi, with his wife, on March 1 of this year.

This Edition of the “National Prayer Breakfast” was organized by the Burundian Parliament under the theme: “Let us be good servants of God”, taken from the holy scriptures of Colossians 3:23.

Also taking part in these ceremonies were the Speaker of the National Assembly, the Vice-President of the Republic of Burundi, parliamentarians, members of the government, the Secretary General of the CNDD-FDD party, diplomats accredited to Burundi and other senior country personalities.

The President of the Republic, H.E Evariste Ndayishimiye, in his message, asked those who were present at these ceremonies to strengthen love and social cohesion, help and pray for the countries which are at war and called on the administrative authorities to cut short with any unworthy behaviour, but rather draw closer to God.
