July 9, 2023On Sunday, August 27, 2023, the Speaker of the Senate and Legal Representative of the United Methodist Church in Burundi, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, joined the faithful of the Rock Church, in Shatanya quarter, Gitega commune and province, the political capital of Burundi, during the Sunday prayer service.
In his preaching, Right Honourable Sinzohagera focused on certain Holy Scriptures, notably Psalm 125: 1-2 as well as the Acts of the Apostles 28: 2-6.
He told the faithful of this Church that those who trust in the Lord are like the Zion Mountain, which does not totter, but which is rather always strengthened.
The Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament advised them to always be in good relationship with God.
He reassured them that if they trust in the Lord,, despite the hardship of life, they will not feel any harm, because God loves them.
