THE INHABITANTS OF RUMONGE INVITED TO CONSOLIDATE THEIR FAMILIES TO PROSPER
NYABIHANGA PARENTS AND ADMINISTRATIVE AUTHORITIES URGED TO PROMOTE YOUTH EDUCATION

June 9, 2022The Senate Speaker, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, in the company of parliamentarians elected in the constituency of Rumonge, joined forces with the population of the Mutambara zone of the commune and province of Rumonge, in the activities for the extention of the Mutambara Communal Lycée, on Saturday, June 05, 2022. This work consisted in mixing the concrete used to pave classrooms of this school.
Addressing the population of this locality, the Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera recalled that this month of June coincides with the commemoration of the death of the Supreme Guide of Patriotism, H.E Pierre Nkurunziza. In fact, he has been an actor in the development of social infrastructure such as schools, hospitals, roads, etc. “We must always keep this heritage which will help us to build our country which we will in turn bequeath to our children and grandchildren”, he insisted.
Among the concerns of the population is the ticklish situation of compensation for oil palm fields, which is not considered in the same way as for other crops. On this subject, the Senate Speaker reassured them that the minister having agriculture and livestock in his attributions is considering a working session with the population concerned for a favorable outcome.
With regard to the consolidation of peace, the Right Honourable Sinzohagera indicated that Burundian society is built on the family, a reason why we must consolidate our respective families for the benefit of our culture.
In addition, the Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament urged the inhabitants of Rumonge in particular and Burundian citizens in general, to have love for the country and to work with dedication for its development.
He also sensitized the inhabitants of this locality to properly educate their children and encourage them to study. Right Honourable Sinzohagera did not fail to advise them to clean up the surroundings of Tanganyika Lake and to use the financial means from this Lake for self-development.
Finally, he reminded them to continue to protect themselves against Covid-19.
