The 1st Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Dénise Ndadaye, joined the population of Bujumbura City in the tree planting work along the RN 5 leading to Melchior Ndadaye International Airport, this Saturday, January 13, 2024.
In a message addressed to the population just after this work, she provided advice to the administrative authorities so that they raise awareness among the population to engage in development activities organized every Saturday.
She highlighted the importance of trees, particularly in the water cycle, oxygen production, shade creation, etc.
Honourable Ndadaye invited the population to ensure security, cope with the high cost of living by working diligently, and to raise poultry and rabbits.
The 1st Deputy Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament also urged the population to respond to the call of the President of the Republic, who invites everyone to work to make Burundi an emerging country by 2040 and a developed one by 2060.
