This July 6, 2024, the Second Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Fabrice Nkurunziza, joined the population of the Baziro village and zone, Gitobe commune in Kirundo province, during the concrete mixing intended for the building of the foundation of the meeting hall of this area.
In his message to the participants in this activity, Honourable Nkurunziza called on the population of this province to prepare for the next general census of the population, housing, agriculture and livestock. He invited them to protect the environment and promote the cultivation of coffee and avocado trees.
The Second Deputy Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament also asked the inhabitants of this province to continue to preserve peace and security, and to encourage students on holidays to work.
He also advised them to exploit the marshes during this dry season, to manage their harvest well, and to be characterized by fiscal citizenship.
