The population of Mabanda called to modernize agriculture and livestock

In the framework of the activities carried out during parliamentary recess of July 2024, the Second Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Fabrice Nkurunziza, along with a senator elected in the constituency of Makamba, the Governor’s Chief of staff and some administrative authorities, joined the population of the village Mivo, Zone Kayogoro in the Commune Mabanda of Makamba province in a work consisting in tracing of the contour-lines.

In his message, Honourable Fabrice Nkurunziza encouraged the persons who promote agriculture and livestock.

Thereafter, he called on the population to modernize agriculture and livestock, especially small livestock and more particularly rabbits. He also sensitized them to protect environment and arable lands. He recalled that they should supervise pupils on holidays by sending them to work camps. He did not fail to remind the population to safeguard peace and security and to respond massively to the census and to respect administrative authorities.
