The population of Musongati invited to continue to buckle down to development work during the election period

The Speaker of the Senate and Legal Representative of the United Methodist Church in Burundi, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, joined the faithful of the United Methodist Church, Rusunu parish, in the zone and commune Musongati of Rutana province, during the Sunday celebration prayer, on Sunday, December 1^st, 2024.

Right Honourable Sinzohagera invited the population of this locality to continue to buckle down to development work during the election period and to preserve peace and security.

In his preaching, he used some Bible verses namely Isaiah 55: 10-11 and the epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Philippians 1:6. He told them to be confident that God pursues a project he has initiated until its completion.

The Senate Speaker asked them to keep their lamps lit, because God can come at any time. The kingdom of God belongs to those who have a pure soul, he said.

At the end, he gave a contribution of five hundred thousand Burundian francs, for the construction work underway at this parish.
