The Second Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Fabrice Nkurunziza, accompanied by the Governor of Mwaro province and some administrative officials of this province, joined the population of Kayokwe commune in community development work consisting in cleaning up the market of Mwaro, this Saturday, April 20, 2024 .
In his message, Honourable Fabrice NKURUNZIZA thanked the population of Mwaro for responding to the Government’s call to keep their households and public places clean. He also invited this population to protect the environment in order to fight against the consequences of climate change.
He took advantage of this opportunity to raise awareness among the population of Mwaro to collect aid to assist the victims of climate change who have been forced to desert their homes.
Honourable NKURUNZIZA invited this population to continue community development and general interest and in order to increase production and thus achieve the vision of “Burundi, an emerging country by 2040 and a developed country by 2060”.
He called on the population to limit births, to safeguard peace and security.
The second Deputy-Speaker recommended the veterinarians and agricultural instructors to be closer to the population for supervision.
