In the morning of Saturday, March 11, 2023, the First Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Dénise Ndadaye, joined the population of Nyabihanga and Kayokwe communes, in Mwaro province, to erect a bridge over Senyeri River serving as border between the two administrative entities.
Honourable Dénise Ndadaye, in a message addressed to the population, recalled that such work is the basis of development and called on them to continue to do so every Saturday.
She also invited communal administrators to schedule community development activities during all weekends.
The 1st Deputy Speaker of the Senate asked households to get down to development activities in order to cope with poverty and famine, and have a surplus to sell.
She gave them other advice aimed notably at family planning, respect for the hierarchy in the transmission of grievances, love of neighbour, etc.
