The population of Nyabihanga urged not to listen to rumors

The Fist Deputy Speaker of the Senate of Burundi, Honourable Dénise NDADAYE, accompanied by the Governor of the province Mwaro and some administrative officials, joined the population of the village and zone Mugano, of the commune Nyabihanga, in the rehabilitation of the bridge connecting the sub-villages Gitaba and Nyabumwe this Saturday June 15, 2024.

In her message, Honourable Dénise NDADAYE called the population to always respect the authorities, to carry out cleanliness work in order to prepare properly for the thanksgiving prayer organized by the presidential family for the 4 years that His Excellency General Evariste NDAYISHIMIYE has just come to power.

She also urged the population of voting age to seek national identity cards to respond massively to the next elections.

In addition, she thanked the population for engaging in field work in strict compliance with the agricultural calendar, a reason why the harvest was sufficiently good.

To this end, Honourable Dénise NDADAYE invited the population to make good management of the harvest, to help one another, to keep on doing community development work and avoid rumors.

After this work, she visited the bridge located on Ruvyironza river connecting the communes of Nyabihanga and Gitega, a bridge which about to collapse. She called on the services concerned to intervene to rehabilitate it.
