The Senate’s First Deputy Speaker, Honourable Dénise Ndadaye joined the population of the city of Rumonge on Saturday, September 7, 2024, during the cleaning of the gutters around the premises of the provincial office of that province.
Addressing the participants at that activity, Honourable Dénise Ndadaye urged them to adopt hygienic measures to fight against the monkey pox. She invited the population to answer the census agents’ questions honestly during this this period of general census of population, housing, agriculture and livestock.
The Senate’s First deputy Speaker urged them also to properly supervise the youth in order to improve the success rate in national tests. She advised them to fight against climate change, continue to preserve peace and security, and to tackle various works, with a view to achieving the country’s development objectives: “Burundi an emerging country by 2040, and a developed one by 2060.”
