On Thursday, August 05, 2021, a day dedicated to the environment, the Right Honorable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, Senate Speaker, joined the inhabitants of the Kibuye zone, in the commune of Isare of the province Bujumbura, in the work of plotting the contour lines on the village of Buyimba.
Shortly after the plotting of that village, the Right Honourable Sinzohagera carried out community development work which consisted of collecting stones to the site where the fundamental school of Buyimba (ECOFO Buyimba was to be built. There followed the mixing rubble and cement for the concrete of the bottom layer of that school.
In his message, the Senate Speaker congratulated the administrative authorities and parents of learners from that administrative entity for having supervised the students on summer vacation through the brick-making activities. It is those bricks that will be used to build that school. For his part, he promised to contribute 100 sacks of cement and 50 metal tubes.
The Right Honourable Sinzohagera provided various advice to the population most of which related to mutual solidarity, the design of bankable projects that could be financed by the Youth Investment Bank (BIJE) or the Bank for Women which has recently been instituted. He also invited them to practice entrepreneurial agriculture. At the end of that work, the Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament visited a modern farmer from the village of Buyimba, whose name is Etienne Niyonzima.
Finally, he visited the fields of four cooperatives in the zone Rushubi and a stadium under construction in the village of Karunga in the zone of Benga, commune ISARE.
