The Senate Second Deputy Speaker Participates in Sessions Focused on Promoting Youth Education and Employment in Armenia

On Friday, September 13, 2024, in Yerevan, Armenia, the Senate Second Deputy Speaker, Honourable Fabrice Nkurunziza, attended presentations of international experts on the marginalization of vulnerable groups, and representatives specializing in the protection and empowerment of marginalized groups or people in vulnerable situations.

During this session, participants in these meetings discussed on issues aimed at identifying vulnerable and marginalized groups, and defining the needs of vulnerable youth groups in order to identify education and employment initiatives and policies designed specifically for these youth groups.

Subsequently, Honourable Fabrice Nkurunziza participated in the group working session on the theme: ‘‘Protecting the empowerment of young people in times of crisis: the action of young parliamentarians.’’

During this session, participants discussed deeply on aspects relating to education and employment of young people in times of crisis, and reflected on the initiatives which young people can undertake for their own empowerment.
