The Senate Speaker, Rt Honourable SINZOHAGERA, together with his wife, visited the Christians of the Evangelical Friends Church (EFC), in MUTAHO commune of GITEGA province, in Sunday prayer on April 25, 2021.
In a message addressed to Christians, the Rt Honourable SINZOHAGERA appreciated the contribution of the EFC to the development of the country especially in the fields of education and health.
He invited Christians to get involved in development work because it must accompany the word of God. So, the Rt Honorable SINZOHAGERA advised them not to wait for outside help and therefore give their own contributions in that work.
The Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament also advised young people and women to plan projects that could enable them to obtain loans from banks for self-development.
In addition, the Rt Honourable SINZOHAGERA congratulated the Christians of the EFC for the current work to build a new church, and he gave them, on his own behalf, one million Burundian francs as a support.
Finally, the Senate Speaker invited them to fight against Covid-19.
