May 7, 2023COMMUNICATION OF THE RIGHT HONORABLE EMMANUEL SINZOHAGERA, SPEAKER OF THE SENATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF BURUNDI ON THE OCCASION OF THE 10th CONCERTATION MEETING OF ASSECAA
May 11, 2023In the afternoon of Tuesday, May 09, 2023, the Senate Speaker, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, flew to the Kingdom of Eswatini where he will take part in the 10th consultation meeting of the Association of Senates, Shooras and Equivalent Councils of Africa and the Arab World (ASSECAA), from May 11 to 13, 2023.
The meeting will be held under the theme: “The Future of Arab-African Economies in the Light of the Successive Global Economic Crises and the Ongoing Global Geopolitical Tensions and Instability”.
The participants in this meeting will also exchange on other topics, namely, the importance of the green economy to support development in Africa and the Arab world.
In the sidelines of that meeting, the Right Honourable Sinzohagera will have an opportunity to exchange views with various delegations on common interest issues.
