The Senate Speaker, Right Honorable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, called on the natives of Rumonge to sit together in order to establish a consensus plan, have a common vision, respect each other and obey the leaders to succeed in any development project.
He said this during the meeting held for parliamentarians elected in Rumonge constituency and heads of decentralized services in this province, on the evening of Friday, October 16, 2020, at Tanganyika Lodge located in Rumonge province.
Their discussions focused on strategies for developing this locality.
The Senate Speaker urged those who took part in this meeting to participate in the supervision of the population grouped in cooperatives, to restore the basic justice in order to reduce trials and take advantage of the economic situation of Rumonge commune to develop the whole province.
Taking the floor, the participants expressed their concerns, among other things, the acquisition of roads in good condition connecting Rumonge and its border provinces, the raising of the awareness of Rumonge city population about transforming their dilapidated buildings into sustainable buildings, etc.
