On Sunday, August 30, 2020, the Senate Speaker, the Right Honorable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, accompanied by his Second deputy-Speaker, Honorable Cyriaque Nshimirimana and the senior officials of the Senate joined the Christians of the United Methodist Church, Rohero parish in Bujumbura city. In his speech, the Right Honorable Sinzohagera insisted on the role of Churches in promoting the Government projects. He also urged the Christians to pray for the leaders of the country, work diligently, safeguard the social cohesion, fight the spread of Covid-19 and be concerned about the sanitation of Bujumbura city.
Thereafter, the Senate Speaker, at the same time Pastor in this Church, went ahead with the preaching through which he insisted on the love of the neighbor.
