On Saturday, July 10, 2021, the Speaker of the Senate, the Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, joined the population of the Mugera village and zone, in Mishiha commune of Cankuzo province in the community development work which consisted of moving the bricks closer together to a Hospital, under construction, on that village.
The Right Honourable Sinzohagera, in his message, called on the Burundians to safeguard peace and security, guarantor of sustainable development. He also urged them not to waste the harvest, to eradicate polygamy, to fight against bushfires and anything that can contribute to insecurity and disorder.
He also urged the population of that locality, and especially women and the youth, to develop and accomplish self-development projects, especially those in the field of agriculture and livestock, and reminded them that there are even banks that can grant them loans without a mortgage.
The Right Honourable Sinzohagera also asked the Burundian population to keep on respecting protective measures against Covid-19. He did not fail to remind them to prepare for the implementation of the law on permanent keeping in sheds and prohibition of wandering for domestic animals and poultry in Burundi since October of this year. The Senate Speaker promised them to support the construction work of that Hospital.
