The Senate Speaker meets Leaders of Political Parties and Representatives of Religious Denominations
COMMUNIQUE APPROVING THE WORK OF THE FIVE TESTIMONY AND REFLECTION CONFERENCES ORGANIZED BY THE SENATE OF BURUNDI ON THE THEME: “49 YEARS LATER, REMEMBER AND WELL QUALIFY THE EVENTS OF 1972 IN BURUNDI”
June 8, 2021The Speaker of the Senate participates in the fourth testimonial and reflection conference on the 1972 events in Burundi
June 11, 2021On Wednesday, june 09,2021, the Senate Speaker, the Rt Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, accompanied with his two deputies, the Honourables Spes-Caritas Njebarikanuye and Cyriaque Nshimirimana, met in Gitega leaders of approved political parties and Representatives of Religious Denominations for an interchange on the conferences organized by the Senate in regard to the events of 1972.
During that meeting, the Senate Speaker invited leaders of approved political parties in Burundi and Representatives of Religious Denominations to support the testimonial and reflection conferences which sole objective is the preparation of a good future their country and their progeny.
Participants appreciated the work that the Upper Chamber of the Parliament is achieving and they suggested the decentralization of those conferences through the country up to the village level so that all the population should give their contribution
