The Senate Speaker takes part in the closing ceremonies of thanksgiving prayer in Mutaho commune

Thursday, December 31, 2020, the Senate Speaker, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, together with his wife, his two Deputy Speakers, Honourable Spès-Caritas Njebarikanuye and Honourable Cyriaque Nshimirimana, the senators and some of the executives of this Institution, took part in the closing ceremonies of thanksgiving prayer, organized by the Presidential Family, from 28 to 31 December, in Mutaho commune of Gitega Province.

These ceremonies began with a long parade of the country’s high authorities and representatives of the inhabitants of the 11 communes of this province

They were also embellished with religious songs and ended with the Word of God, the reference of which is Psalm 33:9-12.

The President of the National Assembly and his Deputy-Speakers, the Vice-President of the Republic of Burundi, the deputies, some senior officials and many people coming from different parts of Burundi took part also in this prayer.
