On March 23, 2024, the First Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Denise Ndadaye, together with the senators elected in the constituency of Rumonge province, joined the population of the zone Gitaza, Muhuta commune in the work of collecting rubble and sand which will be used for the extension of the basic school of Gitaza.
After the community development work, Honourable Denise Ndadaye delivered a message calling on the population of Rumonge in general and more particularly women to tackle development work for the benefit of their homes, to provide their children with a good family education, to respect the right to education of children and to ensure that they obey their parents because this is the guarantee of Burundi, an emerging country by 2040 and developed by 2060.
She also invited the population of Rumonge to collaborate within the quadrilogy in order to preserve peace and security and to develop resilience in the face of climate change by respecting the measure relating to the protection of the shores of Lake Tanganyika.
In addition, she asked administrative officials to collaborate with parents so that all newborns are registered in civil registers.
