July 6, 2023In the afternoon of Thursday, July 06, 2023, the Speaker of the Senate and Legal Representative of the United Methodist Church in Burundi, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, accompanied by his spouse, joined the faithful of this Church, in parish Bikóbe, Kinyínya district, in the commune Nyabitsinda, Ruyigi province, during the opening prayer of the 4-day crusade, organized under the theme: ”Let us have in us the feelings which were in Jesus Christ”.
In his sermon, the Right Honourable Sinzohagera asked the faithful of this Church to conform to the theme of this crusade.
He urged them to be characterized by love of neighbor, benevolence, mercy and kindness.
As part of the contribution to the accomplishment of community development projects initiated by the faithful of this district, the Speaker of the Senate promised them a contribution of five million Burundian francs, one half of which on behalf of his family and another half on behalf of the national representation of the Church.
