Burundian citizens challenged to pray for the whole world

March 15, 2022On Sunday, March 13, 2022, the Senate Speaker, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, accompanied by his wife and some senators, joined the faithful of the United Methodist Church of Kamenge parish, in Bujumbura City, during the prayer closing of a three-day crusade.
Addressing to the participants in this crusade and to the Burundian population as a whole, the Right Honourable Sinzohagera urged them to pray for all countries around the world, for God to give them peace. He also asked them to pray for the President of the Republic of Burundi, and to continue to respect the barrier measures against Covid-19.
In his preaching, he reassured the Christians of this parish that with God they will do exploits.
The Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament, who is also Legal Representative of the United Methodist Church in Burundi advised them not to underestimate themselves, to be guided by the Holy Spirit and faith, so they will make exploits.
