Christians urged to buckle down to development activities to strengthen independence

The Senate Speaker, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, joined the Christians of the Anglican Church in Rutana Province in Sunday prayer on June26, 2022.

In his message addressed to these Christians, the Right Honourable Sinzohagera wished all Burundians a happy Independence Day and invited them to buckle down to development activities to strengthen it.

He appreciated the achievements of that church in terms of development, especially the construction of schools, hospitals, etc.

The Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament also advised them not to eat cow, goat and sheep meat to avoid contamination by the Rift Valley Fever.

In the, the Senate Speaker asked them to protect themselves against the Corona virus.
