On June 04, 2022, Honourable Dénise Ndadaye, First Deputy Speaker of the Senate, joined the population of Nyamitore village, Nyabihanga commune of the province of Mwaro, in the construction activity of Gitaka market, consisting in concreting a shed of this market, under construction.
In her message, Honourable Dénise Ndadaye reminded the inhabitants of this locality that this market is located near the RN18 and that therefore, they should take advantage of it by cultivating different kinds of crops in order to increase production to be sold to passengers, which will allow the commune to get taxes.
With regard to the promotion of education for the youth, the First Deputy Speaker of the Senate called on parents and administrative authorities to closely monitor the education of their children, as there are a large number of school-age girls with unwanted pregnancies.
Furthermore, she recalled that the galloping demography constitutes a major handicap for development. To this end, she encouraged the population to control births and to buckle down to development activities by forming cooperatives in order to benefit from loans from the banks set up by the Government.
Other distinguished guests who participated in these community development activities are the Minister of National Solidarity, the Governor of the province of Mwaro and many others.
After these activities, the First Deputy Speaker of the Senate attended a football match between the team of the natives of the commune of Nyabihanga and that of the natives of this commune who reside outside this administrative entity.
