The 1st Deputy Speaker of the Senate reassures the communal councilors of Ngozi on the programme budget

On Wednesday, March 22, 2023, the First Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Dénise Ndadaye, was in Ngozi province where she met the communal councilors with the same objective of the Bureau of the Senate, to be aware of the difficulties they encountered in their missions.

These communal councilors raised some issues related to wages and other benefits, the multiplication of booklets on the communal law, the lack of control over the programme budget and the lack of transport means to participate in the various meetings.

Honoorable Dénise Ndadaye informed them that concerning the lack of control over the programme budget, the Senate Speaker had already submitted this issue to the Minister of Home Affairs who promised to provide appropriate solutions.
