Approval of a Candidate for the Position of Deputy Inspector General of Burundi National Police

In accordance with Article 192.9 of the Constitution of the Republic of Burundi, and upon the proposal of His Excellency Evariste Ndayishimiye, President of the Republic, during a plenary session chaired by the Senate Speaker, Right Hounorable Gervais Ndirakobuca, senators unanimously approved, on Thursday, September 18, 2025, the candidacy of Police Brigadier General Emmanuel Ndayiziga for the position of Deputy Inspector General of Burundi National Police. The Minister of Public Security, Léonidas Ndaruzaniye, represented the Government to provide further information regarding the candidate.
